The files on the CDs are in text (also known as ASCII) format.

To load a particular report in your word processor for further formatting and printing, simply change your word processor's file type setting to allow for loading of a text (or ASCII) file. For example, in Microsoft Word, you can change this setting in the (F)ile (O)pen menu - which in version 7 is located on the bottom left side of that menu.

If you are using Windows, an alternative way to insert a file into your word processor is to load the file into Windows Notepad (in Accessories group). Then, select all the text, and copy and paste the contents into your word processor.

Whatever method you use, you will need to delete the hard carriage returns on each line of text. These returns were necessary when the text file was created to ensure that the file could inserted, intact, into any DOS or Windows word processor.
